Indie Games Association is a non profit organisation, founded by a group of young and motivated developers and students and which focuses on the games industry in Tunisia, uniting the game development community in collaboration with local game dev studios and tend to spread its culture in the student life through several clubs and institutes such as ISAMM and ESSTED.

Game Dev Workshops

First Meeting in our new working space
IGA has started it's annual Game Dev Workshops in the valkyrie entertainment co-working space. We discussed every member's first game idea, talked about the first steps in editing a GDD(Game Design Document) and creating a game, including the phases of rendering, programming, producing and testing.

Clash:Mutants VS Pirates

Saturday 02 March Pre-beta testing session
Indie Games Association's media team and developers were invited saturday, march 02 for NewGen's Clash:Mutants VS Pirates pre-beta testing in the city of culture. IGA team took part in the testing of the game's mechanics and graphics plus its quality control. Our testers helped NewGen's team in detecting and reporting defects within the game in order to help improve the product. As for the media coverage, our team was represented by our talented photographers, who captured the highlights of the event to help promote, proudly, this unusual tunisian product. Multiple well-known personalities in the industry attended the event to support the studio and wish them success in their future projects.

Le patrimoine à l'honneur

Our first partnership with 4C Manouba
Manouba 4.0, Le patrimoine de l'honneur was an opportunity for our association to take part in such educational event and start a new partnership with ISAMM's 4C Club and Ticdce.The event took place in ISAMM's amphitheater and Ticdce's headquaters in the city of culture. Manouba 4.0's activities were categorized into workshops, challenges and conferences, in which the attendants participated in discussions about the alliance between the authentic history of the the region of Manouba and the digital world. This event offers you the opportunity to discover the Tunisian heritage and take part in the challenge.

Indie Games Club

Opening of the new club in Essted
In part of the development of the association and getting involved in the student life, Indie Games Association opened an Indie Games Club in ESSTED in order to facilitate the organization of training sessions and Game Dev related events within the school.And by this opening, IGA tend to be more known among the students, to recruit the most brilliant artists and to unite the video games community in the campus by spreading the culture on a larger scale.

Radiocean about IGA

We do not stop playing for the rest of our lives
, july 20th we did an interview with Radiocean in which we talked about how much we love video games and how much we love creating them.Also, we talked about our own events and the ones we participated in like Tunisia talks games, Global Game Jam and ComicCon Tunisia and how we should invest more in the games industry in Tunisia.We discussed the goals of our association which are the development of the video game industry as well as the training of students in this domain within the walls of the university.
